About the Doctor

Dr. Janice Struckhoff is excited to have her new, all-digital office open in Independence, and looks forward to many years of serving the area’s orthodontic needs.

Dr. Struckhoff grew up on a farm in Missouri and graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in mechanical engineering. Her career led her to the Cincinnati area, but after several years as an engineer, Dr. Struckhoff decided to pursue dentistry, specifically orthodontics. Why? It’s all about the “before and after” and the positive effect that orthodontics can have on an individual’s appearance, self-esteem and overall well-being.

Dr. Struckhoff graduated with honors from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She then earned her masters in oral biology and her certificate in orthodontics through her three-year residency at Ohio State.

Dr. Struckhoff is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is an active member of many professional associations, including:

• Southern Association of Orthodontists
• Kentucky Dental Association
• Kentucky Association of Orthodontists
• Northern Kentucky Dental Society

In her spare time, Dr. Struckhoff volunteers with the Washington Overseas Mission and enjoys running, reading, snow skiing and traveling.
